Ok It’s a couple hours early but screw it.

V6, 5-speed, 4wd, standard cab, long bed? Yes please. $1600 asking price makes me question the integrity of the frame and undercarriage, but for that low of a price, if it makes it through one
winter it’s paid for itself.

I had a 2wd shorty with a 5 speed. It met all my trucking needs.

PA so the frame could be a rusted mess.. or at 242k it could need mechanical work that meant it was time for them to move on, hard to say which (or how much of each. .)

I have a 1997 2wd long bed, it’ s been great. They are prone to rust though, so check underneath well, especially at leaf spring shackles.

I think the ‘99 2wd extended cab long bed I was given will be going on the block soon. I’d love to get that kind of cheddar for it, but being 2wd I doubt I will. Although it does have a 5.4 at least.

Honestly that’s overpriced. I sold a 02 in that area with far fewer miles for $1000 a few years ago. I’d offer $1k and take it from there.

Was yours a 5 speed?

I finally bought my new-homeowners-need-a-truck work truck last week. 1999 Chevy 2500 2WD, single cab, long bed. Should be all I need for house projects and will probably eventually use it to tow my miata to the track
